PEEK Polyetheretherketone

PEEK is a high-performance polymer known for its exceptional combination of mechanical, thermal, and chemical properties.
With a continuous use temperature up to 260°C, PEEK is ideal for high-temperature applications that also require dimensional stability, chemical inertia, and hydrolysis resistance. Its self-extinguishing properties and low smoke emission make it safe for fire protection applications, while its high mechanical strength makes it suitable for bearing high loads and mechanical stresses without permanent deformation.
PEEK HT is suitable for food contact according to EU and FDA regulations. Alongside the basic PEEK HT formulation, the following are available:
PEEK HPX (PEEK + Graphite, Carbon Fibers, and PTFE), the version with the lowest coefficient of friction.
PEEK CA30 (PEEK + 30% carbon fiber), offering exceptional mechanical properties at high temperatures.
Also available are: PEEK GF30 (PEEK + 30% glass fiber), PEEK ZX (PEEK + PTFE) with high flowability, blue color, and suitable for food contact, PEEK MDX detectable by metal detector and X-rays, PEEK LSG for medical applications.
Applications: self-lubricating bushings, slides, rollers, scrapers, toothed wheels, and other components suitable for operating under extreme conditions where other standard thermoplastics would fail, medical, pharmaceutical, food, electronics, and semiconductor industries.
Semi-finished products available: Rods D. 6 ÷ 200 mm; Tubes external D. 50 ÷ 400 mm; Sheets thickness 5 ÷ 120 mm.
